The title of my website is 'Three Score And Ten (70 years),' which, according to the Psalms, represents our allotted time on planet Earth. Perhaps we can extend it by another decade if we're fortunate. I intend to extend it by several decades, although one can never predict when that journey to the other side will commence.
Throughout life, particularly in one's 30s, 40s, and 50s, individuals often experience occasional 'epiphanies,' wherein concepts previously inaccessible to younger individuals suddenly become vividly clear. I find myself in the later stages of life—old, tired, and retired—where societal expectations dictate wisdom. I may simply be old and foolish, yet I occasionally feel a flicker of wisdom within me.
So, while I'm here, I dedicate time to rekindling my passion for books, blogs, and videos—essentially, learning new things or re-learning forgotten ones. Much of my time is spent reading or scouring the internet for nuggets of wisdom.
Nowadays, it seems everyone has an opinion on almost everything, inundating social media with articles and comments. Each piece strives to unveil a profound truth that few bother to acknowledge. However, it's predominantly comprised of old wives' tales, ignorance, religious dogma, political absurdities, and outright lies aimed at deception.
In my pursuit of wisdom, I enjoy sharing my thoughts and opinions, albeit with more substance than social media typically permits. Few individuals read beyond a sentence or two, so there's little point in inundating the screen with uninteresting information. Hence, I plan to craft mini-articles with compelling titles. By sharing a link to these mini-blogs, I aim to provide additional information for those seeking more depth and perhaps disseminate some of my unconventional ideas. This way, I can offer a well-considered response supported by data and references. Time will tell if this approach proves successful.
Below, you'll find a list of my mini-articles. Click on any that catch your interest, or if you feel compelled to challenge my perspectives.
